The Athenian Breastplate was a breastplate worn by Athenian troops in classical Greece.
Due to its light and sturdy properties, the armor was favored among Athenian soldiers and could be purchased from blacksmiths or found throughout Greece.[1]

- The Athenian Breastplate is based on archaic period hoplite breastplates.[2]
