Atalanta Sandals

Atalanta Sandals was a pair of sandals belonging to Atalanta, a princess of Arcadia who lived during the 6th century BCE. It was part of a an armor set attributed to the heroes in Greek mythology.

During the Peloponnesian War, the sandals came into the possession of a mercenary. The Spartan misthios Kassandra later hunted down the mercenary and claimed the sandals for herself.[1]
