Second, I'm reading AC:Heresy and I just read something that it could be important. It writes: "Such Shrouds formed the basis for tales of the Golden Flecce, and Joseph's Coat of Many Colors; garments, or cloaks, or winding sheets. The most famous of these, the Shroud of Turin, had been in Gramatica's possession, and the man had routinely injured himself or others to force the Consus essence to interact with him."
Let me remind you how many users (or people that possessed one of these) are: The Golden Fleece/Destroyed One (Jason, Perotto Calderon, Giovanni Borgia, Niccoló di Pitigliano, Álvaro Gramática), The Macedonian (Marcus Junius Brutus), the Holy (Joseph, David and Jesus Christ), the Hidden (Geoffroy de Charny), the Royal One (Edward Kenway, Crawford Starrick, Álvaro Gramática)
Now, as you can see, the book is declaring that Gramatica had the Shroud of Turin, the one that supposedly embrace Jesus' body after his crucifixion. That let me with two theories:
1- I thought that the Holy Shroud was unique, that only Jesus and his ancestors wore it. Sadly, with this new discovery, that's incorrect and this one is destroyed. Leaving the one that lies in Turin as a poor replica.
2- Joseph's and David's is not the same one that embrace Jesus's when he died. (That would be sad for me too)
What do you think? Of course there's more to be discovered and I'm writing this post as I read the book. Let me know your opinion. Perhaps there are 4 shrouds or more... (obviously).<ac_metadata title="One more detail regarding the Shroud (SPOLER ALERT AC:HERESY)"> </ac_metadata>
