Melanie did not know about the Templars prior to her official induction in early 2014. We don't know if she worked on Liberation, and she could've easily dismissed the Templars seen in the Golden Age of Piracy as some wacky group that died out. Darby Mcdevitt also confirmed that Olivier Garneau was the only one at Abstergo Entertainment to know of the Templar Order in 2013.
Admittedly, people have used the Q&A with Darby Mcdevitt before and I never really looked at. I figured since more people would be using it, I should probably look at it.
I found the spot where people say Olivier was the only one that knew about the Templars:
“In fact, I don't think any of the people who work at Abstergo Entertainment are actually Templars, with the exception of Olivier...”
I found that interesting.
“In fact, I don't think any of the people who work at Abstergo Entertainment are actually Templars, with the exception of Olivier...”
He admits he isn’t sure, yet people misinterpret it as Olivier was definitely the only one that knew about the Templars.
Also, I guess you are right that there is no solid proof that Lemay worked on Liberation.
