-when fighting these men are some of the toughest.  Their ranged attack is a swing of their axe above their head, which Connor can roll out of the way to dodge.  One way to kill these men is by repeatedly attacking them and then killing a regular, then return to the brute, then a regular etc. Continue this until you can disarm them then they can be taken down.  Another way is to use a special weapon or you can block their attack and throw them onto the floor, where they can be killed.  If you try to shoot them then it will take 2 shots.
