Yes. [[Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad]] was born with common four fingers, one thumb. When he become affiliated with the [[Assassins]] it was needed that he amputate one finger to meet the requirements of the [[Hidden Blade]] and earn the respect of his fellow Brotherhood. Yes. Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad was born with common four fingers, one thumb. When he become affiliated with the Assassins it was needed that he amputate one finger to meet the requirements of the Hidden Blade and earn the respect of his fellow Brotherhood.
