Hi, Sima, how are you? I apologise for another one of my annoying messages but this is a problem that has frustrated me since the end of November. Whenever I attempt to add an image to a gallery on a article I can't, really I mean it, it won't let me. The selection box, or whatever you call it, shows up on the page, but not one the options appear to let me do anything. And I'm sorry if what I'm saying confuses you, I never have had the intelligence to refer to the correct term or name with matters like this. Anyways I'm not sure if this problem that can be fixed or not, if you have a solution to this can you please tell me? If it can't be fixed then I'll forget about it and continue with simple edits. Leave me a message below.
linking query..
Hey Master Sima,
So I'm starting to get the hang of this editing business, but still feel like a bit of a noob sometimes. Quick question I hope you can help with...
When I'm writing something and hyperlink a word to another page, first line is for the page and second is for how the word will appear in the text. But then when you put the cursor over the word as it appears, the full link is showen. On other links when you do this only the word or maybe a person's full name is showen. How do I do this?
Thanks Master SSubject AMDR 08:43, January 11, 2011 (UTC)
To make a link the way you asked, you have to use a different type of link. Instead of typing, say, [http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Ezio_Auditore_da_Firenze Ezio], you can type [[Ezio Auditore da Firenze|Ezio]]. The word on the left is the page that you want to link to, and the word on the right is the text that will appear on the screen when reading the article. Hope that helps, OZZY 09:15, January 11, 2011 (UTC)
Hey Ozzy, that worked great thanks. I think it just looks a lot tidier that way.
Cheers Subject AMDR 09:53, January 11, 2011 (UTC)
- Glad to see you figured it out, mate. Thanks OZZY. :) --THIEF 11:51, January 11, 2011 (UTC)
Bugs
I've been doing a lot of work on the Bugs page, and I was wondering, if by the time I'm finished, the revamp tag could be taken off it? I'm only about halfway through it, but the changes are quite noticable. 'R BlaiddDdraig 12:51, January 11, 2011 (UTC)
- Hmm... it's still a bit... big. -- Master Sima Yi 20:18, January 11, 2011 (UTC)
- True, would you allow me to delete some of them, for example:
- "In the demo of Assassin's Creed made available at E3 2007, critics noted that there were some bugs in Altaïr's movement. These bugs appear to have been rectified in the final version, however."
- Although it's a bug, it won't affect anybody with the game, as stated in the last sentance.
- As well as:
- "In the northeast part of Acre there is a jump you can make only during Sequence 3 where you can get one of two achievements: "Eagle's Will" or "Blade in the Crowd"."
- It doesn't give enough information, and barely makes sense because of it.
- I'll understand if you disagree. 'R BlaiddDdraig 05:02, January 12, 2011 (UTC)
- Oh, but I do agree. They don't make any sense being on that page. -- Master Sima Yi 06:28, January 12, 2011 (UTC)
Siege
Hi, Sima, how goes life? Anyways I've shown some interest in the Siege of Viana article and last week I did some work on it, however I feel that it is lacking something, so being an admin you know what makes a good article and so with some hard work would I be able to promote it to a good status? Or is it one of those articles that cannot be promoted? Is it okay, when you have the time that is, to let me know what it lacks so I can later try and improve it? AssassinRome 19:13, January 11, 2011 (UTC)
- I think every article can be promoted. But it has to be pretty damn good. :P In my opinion, the article focuses way too much on the duel between Cesare and Ezio, and not so much on the overall battle. Perhaps narrow down the game section and write some more about what happens besides that; if you can find info on it, that is? -- Master Sima Yi 20:18, January 11, 2011 (UTC)
- I understand, thank you for the advise Sima ; ) AssassinRome 21:40, January 11, 2011 (UTC)

database entry
Hi master,
I thought i'd seek some advice before i go off on one potentially destructive/annoying editing spree.. i have noticed that a large amont of the characters, main and otherwise, do not have sections for the ingame database entries... is there a reason for this, i.e. not to clutter the articles, or is there a wiki project perhaps or somewhere in particular that is dealing with this? point me in the right direction or give me the go ahead to start adding the characters database entries to their articles. Thanks Subject AMDR 17:42, January 12, 2011 (UTC)
- I added a few database entries some time ago. But they're useless. They provide the same information that is already in the articles' biography sections, sometimes even less. I do believe there is a page on database entries, though. Database articles, I believe. -- Master Sima Yi 17:45, January 12, 2011 (UTC)
- True true.. ok I will bear this in mind and only add those that may bring something more to the article and not just repeat the same info. Cheers! Subject AMDR 17:58, January 12, 2011 (UTC)
Edit
Hey all Im doing is updating what the site says, if it says in assassin's creed: the fall, there is a grand master, then there is one, I'm just trying to make that page better
- DAMN! Sign your posts!!! Secondly, there ALWAYS is a grand master. If we want to include all of them, we can add a whole lot of placeholders. I just doesn't improve the article in any way. -- Master Sima Yi 18:31, January 12, 2011 (UTC)
Hey um, what do you mean by the other warning on my page? there wasn't any that I know of, If I did delete it's because I was cleaning out my page. And what do you mean by signing my posts? I don't know what exactly that is. Please reply. User:SnipaBoy97
- It already says how you can sign your posts right above the edit section! You sign your posts by simply adding ~~~~ at the end of your post. That will make your name and the date automatically show up, like at the end of my post. And I didn't say "other warnings", I said "other content". ;) -- Master Sima Yi 19:11, January 12, 2011 (UTC)
i did not men it
i am sorry i did not men it
- Ah, you were just joking, eh? :P Sure. Nevermind, just makes sure it doesn't happen again. And sign your posts! -- Master Sima Yi 13:47, January 13, 2011 (UTC)
