About me

Hi,

I'm Weas-El from Germany. The nickname is taken from the Smallville wiki, my first "Wikia" … Later I started editing in the German Eragon wiki. From there it was only a small step to the Inheritance wiki, where I became an admin and bureaucrat. I adopted the German The Lord of the Rings wiki later. I casually contribute to other wikis, for example One Wiki to rule them all, The Babylon Project, Canavan's Books Wiki, the German Jonathan Strouds Bartimäus Wiki (german), The Bartimaeus Trilogy Wiki, and others.

I know that my English isn't perfect, please correct me if - no when - I make mistakes! Really! I want to learn from this hobby. ;-)

I administrate the wikis of two German browser games, and with all the different language versions that makes six more "non-Wikia" wikis. This is where I first learned wikitext and organizing a wiki. Usually I prefer to keep an eye on the wiki's structure, categories, templates, layout, typos and all the technical stuff, and don't write many articles myself … but there's no rule without exceptions. :-)
