Me...?

Howdy! The name's War Clown! (chilly background music O_O). Call me War, because Clown sounds like an insult if left alone, but you can also call me Count CooKoo or Darth Board, or heck, why not call me Emperor Cheese Cake?

Obviously, I'm a fan of AC, just like all of you here, but I also have other favorite games, like Metal Gear, Devil May Cry, God of War, BioShock, Grand Theft Auto, Dead Space (also contributing to their wiki), inFamous, Killzone, Uncharted and a hell of a lot more. Right now I'm very interested in Shinji Mikami's new IP, Vanquish, and have already set up camp on the wiki.

I aim to contribute as much as possible on this wiki, and also on the other wikis I'm working on. I profess in giving a detailed summary of events that transpire in a game, and I'm also an adept in organizing some articles and its sections. If I can help, I will. 'Nuff said :D

The great irony of being the...ahem, War Clown (chilly background music O_O)...is that I refrain from fighting and flame wars. Yes, I know, I know, It's weird, but I give others the freedom to voice their opinion out without chocking them to death :D Whether it'd be an insult to the PS3 (Its exclusives are horrible! It's online is free because it sucks! Xbox is THE Be-*BANG!*) or a direct verbal assault to one of my favorite games (MGS4 Suc-*BANG!*), I usually ignore these minor negativity, but if it goes a step too far, I'll have your head mounted on my kitchen, and use your tongue as a table cloth!

Other useless facts about me

  • I'm human :D
  • I'm Filipino (If you even think about blaming me for that Hostage Taking, I'll ban you forever! No questions.)
  • I share my first name with one of the Templars (Marco Barbarigo)
  • The sports I like are MMA and Boxing (and a wee bit of basketball, my friends keep forcing it on me :D)
  • I like any music, so long as it appeals to me
  • I use a USB Modem get connected to the internet (which is why I don't have a PSN yet)
  • I'm an average GameFaqs user (although I use a different name, since War Clown was already taken). Lately, it's been all OMG DEMON'S SOULS IS THE BEST GAME EVARRRR! so I'm not visiting as frequently there.
  • I am a Tekken, Soulcalibur, Marvel Vs Capcom and Mortal Kombat fan, and have devoted countless hours into mastering every existing combo in each game.
  • Despite being a usual Sony guy, I'm a big fan of MS' awesome IPs Fable and Gears of War!

Assassin's Creed

Current AC I'm playing: AC: Altaïr's Chronicles

Ah, how I met AC. I'll never forget it. It seems like it was only yesterday.

It was 2009, when I was singing praises for my newly acquired PS3. Playing games that I have longed for since the announcement. Games like Devil May Cry 4, and Metal Gear Solid 4, the system was truly epic. When I mentioned this to my friend, he told about a, in his words, cool game called Assassin's Creed. I asked him what the hell it was, he answered it was about a game set in history, and also sci-fi. I asked him if I could borrow it, to see for myself what it was, but alas, he cannot, for he hasn't finished playing it yet.

It was not until the end of the year, that my friend was finally able to lend me his copy of Assassin's Creed (Took him long enough, eh?). Obviously, I played it, to see for myself what I've been missing. An hour into the game, I was like: Oh.....My.....God....(I'm so in love, I found you finally, you make me wanna say....)

Compared to what my friend said, cool was an understatement! The game was absolutely awesome! The story was simple enough to follow on both In-Animus and Out-of-the-Animus(for me at least), the combat was something I deeply enjoyed, the missions weren't as repetitive as some said, and nearly every aspect of the game was amazing! I thanked my friend multiple times for letting me play his copy of the game.

Afterwards, I immediately bought Assassin's Creed II and I was squealing like a little girl over every improvement they made (I wasn't actually squealing like a girl, more like swearing like a sailor :D) The game was such a massive improvement! A better story on both sides, improved combat, all the new tools and gadgets, a protagonist with more background and personality (I still think Altaïr's a more badass than Ezio :D) , better location (AC1's areas were very dim compared to Italy), and a variety of enemies and targets. It truly was an epic improvement.

The PSP one, Bloodlines, was better than some said it was. While it was practically, a dumbed-down version of AC1, it managed to pull off a decent story, and a short bonus for AC2 (The Weapons gained from Interconnectivity really help when you're replaying the game :D). Alright, finally got a DS (WOOO!) Now to get playing, starting with Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles!

Oh, and I've also watched the Lineage series. Pretty awesome side-story, if not short.

War Clown's Do's and Don'ts

Given my current position, I could ban you in a heartbeat >:) But, there are ways to get my eye off of you. Want to make a good first impression? Here's a quick guide on what to do.

  • Refrain from asking simple and irrelevant questions. If you're going to ask, do it politely, and, this is important, make sure that your question is something you can't find out for yourself.
  • Contribute, expand stubs, improve grammar, remove vandalism, do what you can to improve the wiki!
  • Focus more on what you do, than what you gain in doing something. Disregard the badges, they mean nothing in terms of rank (other than the leaderboard)
  • Keep your stuff organized, and by stuff, I mean your user page and talk page. No floating userboxes over text, no disorganized talk pages, no nothing!
  • Learn right from wrong. Remember, what we write here, what we type in and save, it will (or will not, depending on the person) be considered as the truth.
  • Pay careful attention to the activity feed and the people you see. You'll never know what they add until you personally check yourself.
  • Given the current situation, refrain from categorizing. The Old Man of the Mountain says that only Istruttores and Admins are allowed to add categories to articles. (The ban has been lifted for the time being. If it is ever imposed again, I'll be sure to update this list's status)
  • Do not vandalize pages. I doesn't take a genius to figure that out, but it's worth noting.
  • Do not edit and save over and over again! Edit as a group. By that, I mean if you're going to edit, make it worth it, and edit big time. If it's only a minor fix, well then, put it on the summary.
  • Frequent the Preview Button. Trust me, when you're doing a major edit, and you press the wrong button, you'll be swearing like a sailor XD
  • If you're going to undo an edit, be sure to check what that edit was. Don't just click the damn Undo, learn what the dude did! If it's vandalism, then press it. If it's a minor fix, then good.
  • And finally, always call me (and the other Istruttores, if you want) Awesome, trust me it'll get you somewhere XD

Pictures from AC:Bloodlines

Pics I took while watching some walkthroughs on YouTube for the Storyline Articles. Since they mean so much to me, I thought I'd put them here in my User Page (Note: One of these images were taken from GameFAQS)
