First, a little staff news: I like to announce the return of [[User:War Clown]]. Once a admin here, he went on a personal leave of absence and is now back on staff, although as an Istruttore -- if everything goes alright, he might regain his rank in the following months. So send a him a "hi" on the comments below ^^

As one of the most successful gaming wikis out there and a great source of feedback in the past, we are continuing our tradition of being the testbed to new Wikia features -- the difference this time (unlike with the "no red links" and "other wikis userpage icons" features and more in the past) is that we got a heads up XD

A new feature is going live next week that will be a major change to the way talkpages are handled. The '''"Message Wall"''', as it is called, will remove the need to enter edit mode whenever leaving someone a message and will make it easier for us to find and create new topics. We'll be able to follow specific conversations instead of entire pages, we won't have to worry about archiving anymore, and new users will "get it" immediately -- no more having to explain how to sign things, or how to reply in a way that sends a notification. It's like the commentary system, but more elaborate and organized.

The test will probably go live next week. When this happens, our existing user talk pages will be archived and protected, so everything will be available and nothing will be deleted ^^ Very few wikis are part of this project, and Wikia Staff will keep a close eye here to make sure the system is to everyone's liking. This feature will eventually go live for all wikis, so this is a great opportunity to help shape the way Message Wall will look and work (so bitch about it next week while we are testing it -- once it's live, we're stuck with it as it is).

As said two times already, it will probably go live next week -- so hold your comments until it actually goes live XD (no complaining about this feature based on past ones, especially since we haven’t tested it yet ¬¬)

And the final bit of news: [[ACR|Revelations]] has been (officially) delayed for PC. We all expected it since all previous PC releases of AC games have been delayed, but now we got confirmation. Only good side of this history is that instead of bloody February, we will get it on December 2nd =P

As the stars shine above the sky of Earth, more news come to the ACWiki...

To the news!

First, a little staff news: I like to announce the return of User:War Clown. Once a admin here, he went into a personal leave of absence and is now back to staff, altough as a Istruttore -- if everything goes alright, he might regain his rank in the following months. So send a him a "hi" on the comments below ^^

Next comes the big stuff -- so hold on to your panties, especially those of you who are Wikia-haters =P

As one of the most succesfull gaming wikis out there and a great source of feedback in the past, we are continuing our tradition of being the testbed to new Wikia features -- the difference this time (unlike with the "no red links" and "other wikis userpage icons" features and more in the past) is that we got a heads up XD

A new feature is coming live next week that will be a major change in the way talkpages are handled. The "Message Wall", as it is called, will remove the need to enter edit mode whenever leaving someone a message and will make it easier for us to find and create new topics.

When this happens, our existing user talk pages will be archived and protected, so everything will be avaiable and nothing will be deleted ^^ Very few wikis are part of this project, and Wikia Staff will keep a close eye here to make sure the system is to everyone's liking. This feature will eventually go live to all wikis, so this is a great opportunity to help shape the way Message Wall looks and works (so bitch about it next week while we are testing it -- once it's live, we're stuck with it as it is).

As said two times already, it will probably go live next week -- so hold your comments until it actually go live XD (no complaining about this feature based on past ones, especially since we havent tested it yet ¬¬)

And the final bit of news: Revelations has been (officially) delayed for PC. We all had expected it since all previous PC releases of AC games have been delayed, but now we got confirmation. Only good side of this history is that instead of bloody february, we will get it in December 2nd =P

Again as a reminder, we are only ONE week away from the end of the very first Assassin's Wiki Giveaway, so if you haven't signed on yet, make sure you do before October 8th!

So that is all for today! Post your comments below – me and the staff want to hear your opinions! Safety and peace, folks.

Cello out.
