The Templar followed suit and chased the Thomas, eventually engaging him in a sword fight. Being bested by the Templar, Thomas dropped the Sword he was carrying. The Templar managed to pick it up, using its power to blast Thomas off his feet. With the Sword and book in hand, the Templar returned them to their resting place in the Temple. As the Templar left the room, he noticed Jacques had been captured. Before he could rescue the Grand Master, the Templar was stopped by a revived Thomas, who stabbed him with his [[Hidden Blade]].
Seven years later, Jacques and his affiliates were set to be burned at the stake. Before perishing, Jacques shouted to the Pope and King overseeing his execution.
