04	16 August 2023	Having been discovered standing over the corpse of Hendrik by the navigator's fellow workers of the Dutch East India Company, Edward Kenway escapes through the window, taking a leap of faith on to a cart of hay below, startling John Young, who had been waiting for him. Kenway managed to get Young out of danger by pushing him into a nearby alley and lose his pursuers by hiding into a cart full of flowers, only to be found by a man with a devil mask and his group of ninjas, triggering another chase. The masked man asks his entourage about Kenway's identity, though they do not know it. Escaping to the port, Kenway defends an innocent man from being killed by the ninjas following him before a cannonball hits the water near them. 05	23 August 2023	A cannonball is fired at the ninjas pursuing Edward Kenway, blowing them out of the water of Macau's port. Kenway takes the innocent man whose life he'd just saved, Zhang[?? need to check], and jumped into the water to avoid the debris raining down due to the explosion. The pair resurfaced and were approached by the sailor that had helped them, John Young, who also fishes them out of the water and into the boat he borrowed from the Dutch East India Company. The man in an oni mask fires an arrow at Kenway, but the Assassin dodged it before the ship sailed away from the port. Some time later, Young and Kenway watch the amount of Dutch East India ships and men at the port and decide to hide until the dust settles. Zhang [Again, check] offers them a place where they can do so, a small village hidden between the mountains on the other side of the island. After arriving, Kenway decides to hunt, first finding a deer and then using its meat as bait for alligators. At night, during a veritable feast of alligator meat, a woman cries out for help with her daughter, who's quite ill. 06	30 August 2023	Doctor Shimazu Sei and her team are analysing the latest Animus error, which came about due to Noa Kim trying to make Edward Kenway do something that did not happen in the past, that is, inform the people about cholera. The errors compound and a warning about the user suffering from the bleeding effect pops up. Sei attempts to warn Noa, but his stubborness causes desynchronization and the program terminates due to the security protocol. Noa's heart rate and adrenaline levels spike as Sei shouts to her coworkers to get him out of the Animus. Some time later, Noa wakes up on what seems like a hospital bed. He tries to get up, but is still too weak and falls on the floor as the memories he relived flash through his head. Doctor Shimazu entered the room and explains what the Animus does, who Kenway was, and what she's after: information on a Piece of Eden Kenway found in southeast asia. She threatens Noa into staying quiet in his bed, with a group of Abstergo guards entering the room. Doctor Shimazu also requests Noa stop being stubborn and going against what truly happened in the past, annoying him into pulling her up by collar of her labcoat and screaming at her to stop telling him what to do before being restrained by the guards. 07	06 September 2023	Intrigued by his offer, Doctor Shimazu Sei lets Noa Kim explain it. The offer is simple: Noa would return to the Animus and relive Edward Kenway's memories however he would do things his way and would not allow Doctor Shimazu to force him to behave a certain way, otherwise he would go against the Animus every chance he got, forcing the machine to shut the simulation down again and again. He also requested to be given information when requested and to be let go once they got what they wanted. Sei agreed and swore to do so on the Shimazu family name. Before allowing Noa to return to the Animus, Doctor Shimazu offered him a warning on the bleeding effect. Back in the small village on the outskirts of Macau, John Young is informing Kenway that others are showing the same symptoms of the little girl. He also says that the two ingredients for a cure, sugar and salt, wouldn't be found anywhere nearby and their best option would be to steal from Madam Lee's warehouse. He explains that Madam Lee has Macau under her feet, having monopolized the trade of both salt and sugar, with rumors running around that she alone controls the entrance and exit of money in Macau. Edward makes his way to the warehouse, hiding in the rafters as workers come in and overhearing that Madam Lee paid good money for the logbook of a recently murdered Norse navigator.	*Shimazu Sei *Noa Kim *Edward Kenway *John Young *Madam Lee (mentioned only)
08	13 September 2023	While Edward Kenway is on the rafters of Madam Lee's warehouse, a pot full of flammable liquid is thrown through the window and shot with flaming arrows, setting the warehouse ablaze. Kenway escapes along with the workers, though also taking a crate of sugar and a sack of salt with him. The arsonists make themselves known, being part of the ninjas that had fought Kenway before. A fight ensues, but Edward manages to kill his attackers, leaving one alive for questioning. The sole survivor recognizes Edward as an Assassin and shouts "Glory to the Shimazu clan"[check official translation for exact wording] before killing himself on Edward's Hidden Blade. A group of dockworkers comes upon Kenway as he finishes saddling his horse with the stolen sugar and salt and a new chase begins.
