Greek Fire
An incendiary mechanical device, this flamethrower type contraptions was first created by the Byzantines, who closely guarded it's secret as a military device. The Greek Fire inflicted heavy damage to everything in it's surrounding.
Assassin's later would use Greek Fire alongside barricades in Assassin dens against the Byzantines during den defense.

Machine Gun
Identical to the machine gun of Leonardo da Vinci, this ballistic weapon, technologically far ahead for it's time, fired bullets at targets within short and far-medium range at quick successions. The machine gun was used to provide cover for the troops on foot.

Cannon
This artillery device fired projectiles from a far distance and destroyed the barricades. Although cannons were in large numbers at a time, unlike other war machines, by Byzantine troops, these were relatively easily damaged and destroyed.
Ram
Battering rams consisted of a large wooden, hollow-prism shaped wheeled frame with a metal covering and a pointed log. These were used as siege engine by Byzantines to destroy barricades set up by Assassins. These were huge in size and could easily destroy any barricade.
