'''João Afonso do Paul do Mar''' (1868 - unknown) was the Mentor of the Portuguese Assassins and formed the South African Assassin Brotherhood. He is an ancestor to Carlos João Faria.

João become an assassin at the age of 16 after joining the Portuguese Assassins. He became the Mentor of the Portuguese Assassins by the age of 27.
A strong fan of the series, Carlos first came in touch with the Assassin's Creed franchise in late 2013. Since then, Carlos has played most games including AC1, AC2, Brotherhood, Revelations, AC3, AC4, Rogue and Unity/Dead Kings.


Throughout his life he made rid of the Portuguese Templars and restored the Portuguese Assassin Order. He then sailed to South Africa to form a solid Brotherhood that would later fight the Apartheid system.
In the coming years Carlos will be studying under Microsoft and will be earning many degrees that will then allow him to fulfill his dream of working for Ubisoft.


João had travelled all around the world to places including Spain, Italy, India, Brazil and South Africa. João lived the rest of his life on the island of Madeira off the coast of Portugal.
Carlos spends his free time gaming, playing football and watching his favourite team Real Madrid play football on his TV.

About me

Carlos João Faria (1998 -) is a 17 year old gamer and student living in Cape Town, South Africa.

A strong fan of the series, Carlos first came in touch with the Assassin's Creed franchise in late 2013. Since then, Carlos has played most games including AC1, AC2, Brotherhood, Revelations, AC3, AC4, Rogue and Unity/Dead Kings.
