* Hello there, I am Maria (yeah, girl) known as "''Hanta Cuauhtemoc''" on this Wiki. I'm new in here, so if you  believe that there is anything that should be improved, developed or even corrected please let me know. I  would be more than glad if you do so.

*To get started: The first time I saw and played  AC was about 2 years ago when a friend showed it to me on her PS3 (woah! another girl!) Well, I was pretty excited watching an italian guy jumping on rooftops, assassinating people and fighting for justice and the truth. By the time the controller was given to me I felt like I was in the game, I had this "threat to survival" feeling, which i actually liked. Generally, I wasn't into gaming and it was the first one that draw my attention. Being too excited and after several hours of gameplay (with my friend of course) I decided to buy my own for PC, so I started with AC:B, which is also my favorite. Even though I may still not know some details as far as the Assassin's Creed games/ books are concerned, I keep believing that I can "fill" all the gaps. I have played most of the games ( AC, ACII, AC:B, AC:R ) and have already bought some books (3 of them, heading for the 4th). I love all the characters, mostly Ezio and Italy is one of the places I want to visit in the future.

*I'm 18 and a student. I live in Greece (Please no jokes for the crisis, we still have internet!) Unfortunately, this year was a real disaster and I couldn't focus on my studies, so guess what! I'm gonna spend another year studying to pass my exams! It's not a tragedy, but the idea of surviving is less tempting than before. I'm cynical and sarcastic sometimes but easy-going and fair minded. Worst of all, I'm socially awkward and often feel uncomfortable being with others, that's why I don't usually like meeting new people. But that's me :)

Oh, just in case you're wondering about my username, I wrote a little paragraph to keep you informed.    (Hanta means "white" in Choctaw , a Muskogean language of the American Southeast. So, by combining  them in my mind it was like "a white falling eagle" or something. Too much fantasy huh?)

Cuauhtemoc  (circa 1495 1525) was an Aztec ruler and the last emperor (from 1520  to 1521 until his capture by the Spanish) of Tenochtitlan , an Aztec city-state located in the Valley of Mexico'. His name means "falling eagle", in particular "One that has Descended Like an Eagle" because of his determination and aggressiveness. At the age of 25 he was elected to the post by a council of noblemen. Hernan Cortes was then marching on Tenochtitlan with powerful Indian allies. Cuauhtemocs frontier forces were forced to retreat in 1521, and he defeated his capital in a four-month siege that left the city destroyed. Captured by the Spanish,Cuauhtemoc was at first treated with deference but later tortured. His stoicism and refusal to speak and reveal his capital's wealth became legendary. Fearing trouble if he left Cuauhtemoc behind, Cortes took the emperor with him to Honduras . En route, hearing a lot against the Spaniards, he ordered Cuauhtemoc hanged.
