:Yeah, from what I've researched, the ruler of Baza at this time should've been {{wiki|Muhammad XIII, Sultan of Granada|Abū 'Abd Allāh Muhammad az-Zaghall}} who, as Muhammad XIII, contested the throne of Granada with his brother {{wiki|Abu l-Hasan Ali, Sultan of Granada|Abu l-Hasan Ali}} and his nephew [[Muhammad XII of Granada|Muhammad XII]] (which by the way is how the Moors lost the war so suddenly). Among these three, the only one with "Ali" in his name Muhammad XIII's brother, but I don't think it's him. All three held the titles of Sultan, and none of them ruled Baza specifically, but Muhammad XIII did hold Baza when it fell in Qasim's story. Prince Ali of Baza[edit source]
Anyone has any idea of who this might be? I tried Googling about him, but, as expected, much of what I could find is about the Disney movie Aladdin or about Ali Baba from the "One Thousand and One Nights"'s tale. --Sekuiyatalk 13:37, July 11, 2017 (UTC)
- Yeah, from what I've researched, the ruler of Baza at this time should've been Abū 'Abd Allāh Muhammad az-Zaghall who, as Muhammad XIII, contested the throne of Granada with his brother Abu l-Hasan Ali and his nephew Muhammad XII (which by the way is how the Moors lost the war so suddenly). Among these three, the only one with "Ali" in his name Muhammad XIII's brother, but I don't think it's him. All three held the titles of Sultan, and none of them ruled Baza specifically, but Muhammad XIII did hold Baza when it fell in Qasim's story. It's possible that Prince Ali was just one of many princes who is too obscure to find in common sources. Or perhaps it really is Aladdin's alter-ego :O, and he was actually a Moor in Spain this whole time!! Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 14:32, July 11, 2017 (UTC)
