The contract from Mediterranean Defense that this seems to be in reference to does not say that Korkut ever called any meeting with Al-Ashraf Qansuh al Ghawri. In fact, it describes quite the opposite, that a meeting between the ''Persians'' and the Mamluks revealed that they had planned to launch an attack on Bursa though it is unclear if Korkut is a governor of Bursa here since he was not historically. Anyways, is this line perhaps from some other source? The contract from Mediterranean Defense that this seems to be in reference to does not say that Korkut ever called any meeting with Al-Ashraf Qansuh al Ghawri. In fact, it describes quite the opposite, that a meeting between the Persians and the Mamluks revealed that they had planned to launch an attack on Bursa though it is unclear if Korkut is a governor of Bursa here since he was not historically.
