The information provided by this sentence concerns gameplay mechanics, not a canonical event or detail that Edward Kenway ''in-universe'' experienced, (nor a canonical event that the Abstergo researcher of Kenway experienced via the animus). Edward doesn't magically, instantly get "rewarded" with a charge attack for his ship upon destroying all legendary ships, that doesn't make logical sense. Rewarded by who? God? Heaven? The air? The way the sentence is written is in an OOU context, and therefore it is completely contradictory to the sentence to pursue a historical past tense for the sentence when the sentence itself is written from an OOU perspective. It is the player of the real-life game playing as Edward sailing the ''Jackdaw'' that gets "rewarded" not Edward Kenway the in-universe character himself. | |||

Charge attack
"Successfully destroying El Impoluto rewards the player with the charge attack for the Jackdaw"
It isn't true. You get it, if you destroy all legendary ship, not only this.Vekerur (talk) 11:45, December 5, 2013 (UTC)
- El Impoluto is one of the legendary ships, so strictly speaking, it is true. That said, I see the point you're trying to make. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 12:15, December 5, 2013 (UTC)
- True, but the others page don't content this text, so I thought, I need only destroy this ship.Vekerur (talk) 12:24, December 5, 2013 (UTC)
- I remember using the charge attack against this ship, after a tutorial pop-up. Don't think it's even connected to destroying these four, because why would it be? I suspect it's part of Elite Naval Ram upgrade. --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 12:39, December 5, 2013 (UTC)

The information provided by this sentence concerns gameplay mechanics, not a canonical event or detail that Edward Kenway in-universe experienced, (nor a canonical event that the Abstergo researcher of Kenway experienced via the animus). It is the player of the real-life game playing as Edward sailing the Jackdaw that gets "rewarded" not Edward Kenway the in-universe character himself. (That being said I think it's okay to keep it as "Edward" and "the player" but the tense is a greater issue).
If you truly desire to translate this into IU terms, then we would have to revise the sentence altogether. Something along the lines of "Once Edward destroyed all legendary ships, he obtained a charge attack .... " Sol Pacificus (talk) 22:41, December 12, 2013 (UTC)
