Per the Manual of Style, shouldn't this page title—as well as Staves/Apples/Spears/Shrouds/Swords/Rings of Eden—be rendered in the singular? If not, why are these few pages exceptional to be in the plural? – [[User:Darman36|Darman]] ([[User talk:Darman36|talk]]) 04:55, 1 July 2024 (UTC)

:To be entirely honest with you, our former lead administrator Master Sima Yi wanted these article titles to be pluralized just to be extra apparent to our casual audience that there are more than one of each—despite this going against policy as these devices are not closed sets of things. I had acquiesced. (Funny enough I did encounter one rando on Reddit or YouTube who cited the plural title of the "Staves of Eden" page to argue "See! There is more than one!", thus apparently proving Sima Yi right. However, it does still go against naming policy and those guys should've been smarter). Edit

I edited this article a few minutes ago if it's important, I'd forgotten to sign in. – 'R BlaiddDdraig 01:39, December 23, 2010 (UTC)

External Relations/Connection

I just remembered that the Crystal Skulls were in Indiana Jones 4 and they had some kind of mind-controlling power over Indie and the old guy, who was supposedly insane until he was around it again. And then the evil lady died because the knowledge they stored was too much for her to handle, and in that movie they referred to that knowledge as treasure. So maybe the Skulls in AC and IJ are the same, except for the fact that the Crystal Skulls would actually be a bone from one of TWCB, since they aren't aliens. What do you guys think? – TranquilTempest (talkcontr) 07:39, June 25, 2011 (UTC)

The Skulls are not exclusive to just these two series. They are objects found decades ago and they are infamous because the finders have claimed they have special powers. IJ is not the first medium to talk about the skulls. And it is nowhere said that the skulls were bones of dead Ancients. – 50.71.15.60 04:19, 3 December 2011 (UTC)

To be entirely honest with you, our former lead administrator Master Sima Yi wanted these article titles to be pluralized just to be extra apparent to our casual audience that there are more than one of each—despite this going against policy as these devices are not closed sets of things. I had acquiesced. (Funny enough I did encounter one rando on Reddit or YouTube who cited the plural title of the "Staves of Eden" page to argue "See!
