Same thing I just said on the Australian Rite's talk page; something happening in a country doesn't mean it's that country's Rite that was the perpetrator. If this Rite's existence is not explicitly stated anywhere, I propose this article goes. -- {{User:Master Sima Yi/sig}} 08:50, February 18, 2017 (UTC)

:I admit that I might have jumped the gun on this one. Finding definitve proof of this Rite's existance is surprisingly frustrating because any mention of Brazil or cities in Brazil seems to, at best, hint at the Rite's existence rather than confirm it. For example, it's mentioned in ''Black Flag'' that the Templars had a safehouse in Rio de Janeiro, but no explicit mention is made of whether local Templars were operating in the area. Similarly, Desmond encountered Abstergo agents in São Paulo during his mission there, but it's never stated that they were sent by a local Abstergo Industries office. I was hoping Bishop's map at the beginning of ''Syndicate'' might help, but it showed that the Assassins had a strong presence in Brazil instead. Like I said, frustrating. I admit that I might have jumped the gun on this one. Finding definitve proof of this Rite's existance is surprisingly frustrating because any mention of Brazil or cities in Brazil seems to, at best, hint at the Rite's existence rather than confirm it. For example, it's mentioned in Black Flag that the Templars had a safehouse in Rio de Janeiro, but no explicit mention is made of whether local Templars were operating in the area. Similarly, Desmond encountered Abstergo agents in São Paulo during his mission there, but it's never stated that they were sent by a local Abstergo Industries office. I was hoping Bishop's map at the beginning of Syndicate might help, but it showed that the Assassins had a strong presence in Brazil instead. Like I said, frustrating.
