The Bureau leaders in Damascus and Acre are ''rafiqs'' and are not called by name. That is their position or rank within the organization and it is a title of respect. Not sure why someone listed Altaïr as a Bureau leader in Damascus ?? Is this some bit of information that is revealed somewhere in the game on X-Box or PS versions? It is not in the PC version. --[[User:Maskim xul|Maskim xul]] 06:13, 5 April 2009 (UTC) | The Bureau leaders in Damascus and Acre are ''rafiqs'' and are not called by name. Pictures
Checklist I can and will do all this myself but if someone wants to help:
- A interior picture in-game Jerusalem or Damascus preferred. [Option 1] (Interior pictures of all the bureaus with the dai/rafiq visible)
- An exterior shot of the whole building Damascus or Jerusalem preferred. [Option 1] (An exterior shot of both of the other bureaus added into a little gallery down bottom with the interior pictures in Option above)
Notes:#Try to allow yourself to get damaged then enter Eagle Vision and take the picture before you regain your health. #No HUD. #If someone decides to help please strike what you've done.

Difference between Assassin Locations
What is the differance between an Assassins' Bereau, a Assassin den (as seen in AC Revelations) and Assassin Hideouts? Thanks 91jonno 21:28, January 21, 2012 (UTC)91jonno
This is a wiki for a reason, but the difference is the Assassin's Burea's are from Assassins Creed whereas Assassin Den's are kinda like bigger and more known...Assassin bases almost and the Assassin Hideout is the modern day hideout in Assassins Creed II

Assassin Bureaus were used in the 12th century for Assassins to go to and get information on their targets and make themselves known to the rafiq that they were in the city. In Altair's case though, he was made to collect his own information.
Assassin Towers in Brotherhood were places that Ezio could go to in order to organize his recruits, and owning one would allow him to renovate shops and buy landmarks nearby, while also allowing him to gain an extra recruit.
Assassin Dens are just like Assassin Towers, except that they offer bomb ingredients and a bomb-crafting station for him to use, they could be retaken by Templars if the Assassins' Notoriety was full (now less focused on Ezio), and could have an Assassin placed in them to guard them, becoming permanently secure after Ezio and the Assassin take down a Templar Agent and they are promoted to Master Assassin.
Assassin Hideouts are the main base for the Assassins in a city, and with Ezio, they contained his armory and weapons, art gallery/library and fast travel with a tunnel entrance. Slate Vesper 00:37, January 22, 2012 (UTC)
