Question about Altair/Ezio/Connor Outifts

Question about the 3 outifts you can unlock in Black Flag

1.So you just have to have an internet connect and 3 Assassin's Creed Games?

2. Do you need to beat said games/ have the saved games of them?

3. Does all of the games (and their respective spin-offs) count?

Well, I did that with each one of them and it still did not unlock for me. Does anyone know what exactly triggers the outfit unlocks for this game (like what does the game check for when determining if I achieved the requirements needed to unlock them) because it is tormenting the heck out of me. Explorer's Outfit

Freedom Cry/Aveline

So, I could add the images of Ade's and Aveline's default robes here, and maybe manage Ade's diving pants and slave disguise, but the problem is with the wording of the opening paragraph, it has to acknowledge these characters, rather than just Ed, since it's not the same character as ToKW with Connor.
