Ávila is a Spanish town in the autonomous community of Castile and León.

In 1495, a group of Spanish Assassins, following the lead provided by the Ottoman Brotherhood travelled to the town in search of clues for where the secret meeting between the Byzantine Rite and the Spanish Rite were taking place. They infiltrated an Inquisition villa in the town and uncovered the nearby city of Segovia as the meeting location.[1]
