Ziguinchor is a city in Senegal.[1]
History
In the early 18th century, Jesuits, nuns, and missionaries living in the city sought resources to improve their settlements and comissioned some items from sailors. The Welsh pirate Edward Kenway traded cocoa pods with them for a good payout.[2]
