Zhu Di (2 May 1360 – 12 August 1424), known as the Yongle Emperor, was the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty of China from 1402 until his death, and a secret ally of the Templar Order.

After Yongle had become emperor in 1402, he ordered his army to round up and execute thousands of suspected Assassins, including their leader Fang Xiaoru.

In 1424, while trying to suppress a rebellion near the Gobi Desert, Yongle was killed by Li Tong, an Assassin whose parents had been killed under his command two years earlier.
