The Yongle Emperor (2 May 1360 – 12 August 1424), born Zhu Di (Chu Ti), was the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty of China from 1402 to 1424, and a secret ally of the Templar Order.

After Yongle had become emperor in 1402, he ordered his army to round up and execute thousands of suspected Assassins, including their leader Fang Xiaoru.

In 1424, while trying to suppress a rebellion near the Gobi Desert, Yongle was killed by Li Tong, an Assassin whose parents had been killed on his order 2 years before.
