They call me many things: Murderer. Cutthroat. Thief. But you may call me Wigmund's Lieutenant.

This article is about a subject that lacks an official name and is known only by its nickname, title, or alias.

Wigmund's Lieutenant (died 873) was a lieutenant of the Anglo-Saxon ealdorman and Order of the Ancients member Wigmund, serving alongside him during the Saxons occupation of Grantebridge in 873.

During the Vikings attempt to recapture the city, the lieutenant remained in Grantebridge as a subsitute to allow for Wigmund to escape to the Isle of Ely Monastery for safety. Along with his guards, the lieutenant confronted the Vikings led by Soma and Eivor Varinsdottir outside the longhouse but was later defeated and cut down.[1]
