Wien River is a river in Vienna, Austria.
History
In 1853, former soldier Simeon Price met with the acrobat Pierrette Arnaud by the river on the Elizabeth Bridge to further discuss about deciphering Ada Lovelace's notes. However, Price told Arnaud that he could not be any help and that he does not want any further contact. Distracting Price, Arnaud kissed him on the cheek goodbye, but not before stealing back Ada's notes and escaping by a moving boat on the river.[1]
Behind the scenes
Translated to English, the Wien River is sometimes read as the "Vienna River."[2]
