When he was still King of Qin, Jing Ke [[wikipedia:Jing Ke]] tried to kill him with a dagger and the blind musician Gao Jianli [[wikipedia:Gao Jianli]] also attempted to do so with lead pieces in his zhu instrument. As Emperor of Qin, Shi Huandi was nearly killed by two men hired by Zhang Liang [[wikipedia:Zhang Liang]] who threw a metal cone at his carriage. The Emperor reportedly died after swallowing mercury pills that were supposed to make him immortal in 210 BCE.

Wei Yu was a male Chinese assassin living in during the Qin Dynasty. He was responsible for the death of Emperor Qin Shi Huangdi, who was supposedly a Templar.He killed him with a spear. It was also said, he was resposible for the death of Emperor Shi Huangdi's son (Ying Huhai)
