Successfully managing to infiltrate the tent and leave the message, Umar was just about to leave when he was discovered by Salah Al'din who had woken up, forcing the Assassin to flee, however, he had to kill a saracen nobleman in order to get away.
When the Saracens moved to form a peace treaty, they demanded that Umar's life be taken in payment for the Saracen nobleman, who was one of Salah al'din's most trusted generals, he had killed. However, if the Assassins refused, the Saracens would execute Ahmad and continue their siege of the city.
