Arthur Schopenhauer (22 February 1788 – 21 September 1860) was a German philosopher.
Biography
In May 1853, an original German-language copy of Schopenhauer's 1813 doctoral dissertation On the Fourfold Root of the Principle of Sufficient Reason, was given to the Assassin apprentice Simeon Price, living under the alias "Jack Straw", by his mentor Oscar Kane. After having finished the thesis among the other books given, Price returned them to Kane.[1]
