Tunguska is a remote region of the Yenisei Basin close to the Krasnoyarsk Krai River in Russia. The Tunguska event occurred in June 1908 near this river, some 8 km (5 miles) south of Lake Cheko.
In Subject 16’s Truth Puzzles, the Tunguska Incident is said to be the result of an attack by Assassins. The area had a Templar research station and an artifact, both of which were said to be destroyed. In Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed: The Fall, the event is further explained.
