Trip mines were very risky weapons to use. The trip mines acted like the tripwire bombs that was being used by the Turkish Assassins. The trip mines were placed on the ground and anyone who steps on it the trip mine will explode killing anyone with in the radius.

Trip Mines were used in the American Revolution by the Assassin, Connor.

Usage

Trip mines acted in a similar fashion to those used by the Turkish Assassins. The mines would have been placed in a strategic location on the ground and when someone stepped on the mine, it would trigger an explosion killing anyone within the blast radius.
