The Tomb of Zubaydah was a cemetery located on the northwestern outskirts of Baghdad. It consisted of a network of graves with a crypt in the middle housing the remains of Zubaydah bint Ja'far, one of the most famous princesses of the Abbasid Caliphate.
Zubaydah's tomb became a frequent spot for pilgrims to visit and thank her for her charity works when they were about to start the hajj to Mecca.[1] During the 860s, the Hidden One Basim Ibn Ishaq was one of the visitors of the tomb.[2]
