Toledo is a city located in central Spain and the capital of the province of Toledo. The city is most famous for its production of bladed weapons; the 18th-century pirate Edward Kenway is a notable owner of a pair of blades from the city.[1]
Around 1511, the Templars commandeered the forges of the city's famous blacksmiths, causing them to flee to Madrid. The Assassins reclaimed their properties from the Templars, returning them to their rightful owners.[2]
