Theseus' Helmet was a helmet that was part of a set of armor in the 5th century BCE Krete. According to the legend attached to the helmet and the whole set, they were the armor pieces worn by the mythical hero Theseus himself when he fought the Minotaur.
During the Peloponnesian War, the helmet was in the possession of the Gortynian politician Ptolemaios. After helping him weaken Gortyn and become a leader himself, the Spartan misthios Kassandra was given this helmet as a reward.[1]

Behind the scenes
Theseus' Helmet, a headgear in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as the commonly found Conqueror's Crown, another headgear in the same game. Despite its name, this is more a circlet than a helmet.
