Theramenes (died 404 BCE) was an Athenian statesman who served as obligarch of Athens during the final phase of the Peloponnesian War.

In around 411 BCE, a project was started to construct a bridge between Boeotia and Euboea to connect the island to the mainland. Learning of this, Theramenes attempted to stop its construction.[1] by taking 30 triremes with him.
