The Impaler

The Impaler was an atgeir that the Æsir lord Havi wielded during his travels in Svartálfaheimr. Originally intended as a gift for him, the ceremony never happened following Surtr's invasion of the realm. While Havi tried to save his son Baldr, he met Surtr's wife and army commander Sinmara after being saved by the dwarven spies Sigrun and Halstein. Havi bested her in combat, but she escaped mid-battle. He acquired The Impaler from the fight as a reward, then upgraded it with resources he acquired on his journey.[1]
