The Hunter's Blade was an intricately carved and engraved sword said to originate from Hyperborea, a land far beyond ancient Greece in Greek mythology.
The sword was made available to the Spartan misthios Kassandra through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relived her memories.[1]
