The Farm is the birthplace of the main protagonist of the Assassin's Creed series, Desmond Miles, where he was destined to be trained as an Assassin. It is an Assassin hideout that lies in the desert, an "off-the-grid" compound, with a population of about 30 people, much like the city of Masyaf.
