The Temple of Demeter was a temple complex dedicated to the goddess Demeter located in the southwest region of Naxos Island, Greece.
During the Peloponnesian War, the temple was visited by the misthios Kassandra, who eliminated the military presence on the premises and looted the treasury.[1]
