A full view of the complex

The Temple of Demeter was a temple complex dedicated to the goddess Demeter located in the Maenad's Hills region of Naxos Island, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War the misthios Kassandra visited the temple, claiming the treasure within despite the military presence on the premises.[1]
