The Temple of Demeter was a temple complex located within the ancient Greek polis Gortyn in Minos' Legacy region of Messara, Greece.

The temple was dedicated to Demeter, the goddess of agriculture, who was honored for introducing a number of discoveries to the island. During the Peloponnesian War the temple was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]
