The Temple of Demeter was a temple complex located in the ancient Greek polis Gortyn in Crete, Greece.

The temple was dedicated to Demeter, the goddess of agriculture who was honored in Crete for introducing a number of discoveries to the island. During the Peloponnesian War, the temple was visited by the Spartan misthios, Kassandra.[1]
