Templar Coins are translucent, collectible items in Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines that take the place of the Flags of the Holy Land in Assassin's Creed. Templar coins are used to buy upgrades for the Animus, and come in bronze, silver, and gold forms.

The coins are not the size of a regular coin, as they are approximately half the size of Altair Ibn-La'Ahad. Though, this is likely just a feature made to make them easier to find.
