The Taranis Helmet were a pair of pants and boots inspired by Taranis, the Celtic god of thunder, which were notable for their reinforced nature that belied an impossibly light weight.
During the Viking expansion into England, the pants were made available to the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories in 2020.[1]
