The Taranis Helmet was a helmet inspired by Taranis, the Celtic god of thunder, and was said to contain enough of his essence to fill the wearer with mysterious power.

During the Viking expansion into England, the helmet was made available to the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories in 2020.[1]
