Tamir (Arabic: تامر) [common Arabic name]

Tamir is the first person Al Mualim orders Altair to assassinate. He is found in the poor district of Damascus
Description
Tamir runs the largest black market in Damascus. Some even say that its possibly the biggest underground trade in swords, spears, armor, and other equipment in the entire Holy Land. He specializes in arms and armor, but can aquire nearly anything if his buyers are willing to pay.
Tamir is known to be a heartless killer, and shows no remorse for it. Sometimes he even feels proud for the lives he takes. He will do whatever it takes for him to make a profit.
He is the main supplier of weapons to the Templars and there other parties who need arming. It is mentioned that in mentioned in a letter from one of Altaïr's targets to Robert de Sable (leader of the Templars) that a new weapon supplier would be needed after Tamir's death.
