Tamir is the first person Al Mualim wants Altair to assassinate.
Tamir is a black market merchant for the Saracens, who is found in the poor district of Damascus. He runs the largest black market in Damascus and may run the biggest weapons market in the Holy Land. He is known to be cruel, heartless and corrupt and is proud of the murders caused by his weapons.
He is assassinated by Altair after killing a merchant in the middle of a courtyard. At least two of Altair's investigation helps him kill Tamir:
- Tamir is preparing a large shipment
- The beams which cross the central courtyard can be accessed
