St. Kenhelm's Falls was a Christian shrine to Saint Kenhelm, northwest of Glowecestre, in 9th century Glowecestrescire, England.
History
In 876, the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir escorted the lord and future Ealdorman, Tewdwr, to the shrine. As Tewdwr prayed to the late saint, Eivor asked why he let his knees become dirty while he retorted that it was to humble himself. After their brief argument, Eivor heard a noise while Tewdwr was reluctant to see. At the same time, both Eivor and Tewdwr noticed a trio of wild Boars about to attack.
